Today I’m sharing Chris & Rebecca’s Engagement at stunning Eglingham Hall Estate, I hope you’ll all enjoy it as much as I did!
Chris & Rebecca have booked me for their wedding next year and last month we arranged an engagement session on the wonderful grounds of Eglingham Hall’s Estate. We had a fabulous time and It’s really not everyday you meet the sweetest couple on the planet, but that day I did! These two are so passionate about each other and all the animals that they share. I absolutely cannot wait for there wedding next year which will take place on the same estate, I honestly cannot wait!
Congratulations Rebecca & Chris!
Engagement Photographer Newcastle
As a engagement photographer I’m so happy to be sharing this super romantic engagement session that I shot a few weeks back with the beautiful Ben and Rachael who are also getting married this month at the Magnificent Matfen Hall.
For this pre-wedding session we decided to head out at sunrise to one of my favorite locations – Rumbling Kern. It’s one of the Northumberlands best kept (until now) secrets. This place has it all.. Sandy beaches, cliffs and always a killer sunrise. Being a wedding & engagement photographer I love nothing more than scaling the jagged seaside cliffs, shooting into the soft sunlight and capturing lush moments. A sunrise session was the perfect choice for this romantic engagement shoot.
If you’d like to add on a Mini Engagement shoot to your package, please do get in touch here.

Charlotte & Michael’s Pre-Wedding Session at Wallington Hall
So a massive congratulations to these guys on winning their Engagement Photography via our Valentines Engagement Competition for the best proposal. We’ve even seen the video, so romantic! (Keep an eye out next year’s proposal competition, by following us on Facebook here)
Michael Proposed to Charlotte on Christmas Day inspired by her favourite movie scene from Love Actually. You can see the clip here Love Actually Scene. We held the engagement shoot at Wallington Hall‘s stunning Edwardian conservatory, such an amazing wedding venue. The Edwardian conservatory would make the most amazing location for newlywed portraits filled with exotic flowers and rare plants. This place is a botanist’s/photographers dream location and just perfect to capture their pre-wedding session.
As a wedding & engagement photographer in the north east I feel so lucky to have so many fabulous wedding venues on the doorstep Wallington Hall being one of them. Soon we’ll be complying a list of the best wedding venues in and around the North East and Northumberland, so please pop back for the update.
Special thanks to the National Trust for granting us permission to use their grounds.
Woodland Engagement Session in Northumberland
Absolutely loved this Engagement Session with Katy and James in the Northumberland National park. We had a fantastic time exploring this relatively untouched piece of Forest land. It was majestic and utterly spectacular – so many different shades of green, yellow and orange.
We spend an hour or so plodding though the boggy peat and getting stuck in the mud occasionally (or even falling over if you’re me!) but it was all part of the fun. We got some fantastic shots and It was worth it just for those gorgeous dabbled light portraits, which are simply beautiful!
We’re so excited for the big day in July, I like to call Katy my wedding twin as we have the exact same tastes in all things wedding related. (We have great taste, if you were wondering) Katy and James will marry just round the corner from this stunning forest in the heart of Elsdon, it’s going to be a gorgeous country affair, and I can’t wait!!
Isle of Skye Elopement Photographer
So here it is the fabulous Isle of Skye couple session with Chris & Katie, as a Isle of Skye elopement photographer I’m so pleased to share this with you all.
Chris and Katie we’re looking for couples to shoot while they were up in on the isle, I obviously jumped at the chance as Isle of Skye was one for the bucket list and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We spent a whole day together hanging out, sharing stories and capturing some amazing photographs. The ISle of Skye is such a majestic place with something for everyone waterfalls, mountains, mist and sea lochs. It has got to be one of the most amazing places on the planet!
